The top seen from  the side, first pic is taken from the base station of Krosso banen and the other
from the top station. Krosso banen is a two wire lift which was one of the fisrt in Europe, now 75 years old.
It was built to get the citizens of Rjukan up so they could enjoy the sun during winter as it does not
reach the vally floor from november to march.
